  • What is Birdhouse?

    Birdhouse is a thoughtfully curated space for women dedicated to fostering community, coworking, and events. 

  • Where is Birdhouse located?

  • What are your hours of operation?

    Effective July 15, 2024 our hours are 7am - 7pm. To request extended hours, please contact hello@birdhouseamesbury.com

  • If I have a day pass, can I leave and come back to the suite that same day?

    Absolutely, a day pass grants you unlimited access that day during open hours. You can come and go as you please.

  • Do you have drop-in or day passes?

    Birdhouse offers both a 1-day pass and 5-day pass option. To find the best membership option for your schedule, visit https://www.birdhouseamesbury.com/membership.

  • Can I tour the space before I purchase a membership?

  • How is Birdhouse different from other coworking spaces?

    Birdhouse is a women’s collective which promotes a strong sense of community, networking and inspiration. The space is designed to be your third space, and well suited for women who work remotely, need uninterrupted time, a change of scenery, or simply want to get out of the house and read a book.

  • Are there copying and printing services available?

    Complimentary copying and printing services are available at Birdhouse. All available office supplies are located on the printer table. 

  • Is there parking available at Birdhouse?

    Parking is free. You can park in the lot at 6 Chestnut St. or in the lot directly across from the main entrance.

  • Do you offer a member directory?

    Stay tuned for more information on a member directory. The directory will be available to members only.

  • How can I bring a friend/guest? What's the protocol?

    Full time members and part time members have guest privileges. To request guest access, members should contact hello@birdhouseamesbury.com to coordinate. 

  • What if I need the space later than 7pm?

    Birdhouse is happy to review your request to access the space after 7pm. To request after hour access, members should contact hello@birdhouseamesbury.com to coordinate. 

  • How will I know if a desk is reserved?

    Birdhouse will make it clear that a desk is dedicated to a specific member. There will be notable differences to indicate it is not available for members to use. 

  • What happens after I purchase a membership?

    Welcome to Birdhouse! You will receive a detailed email containing a welcome packet and door access information within 1 day of purchase.

  • Am I allowed to bring my lunch / snacks?

    Of course! We have a refrigerator for your use and kitchen cabinets for dry goods. We ask that all members be considerate of others with food waste, dishes, and to avoid any foods that are too fragrant while others are in the space.

  • Can I bring alcohol into Birdhouse?

    At this time, no alcohol is permitted in Birdhouse. Certain events will have alcohol and that will be noted. However, on any given regular Birdhouse day alcohol is not allowed. We believe you can connect / get things done / relax at this retreat-like space and then head out in Amesbury to many of the amazing bars and restaurants for a drink with friends. We are working on possible discounts to some of the establishments for Birdhouse members. Stay tuned!

  • How do I get into the suite?

    Once you purchase a membership, you will get an email with a welcome packet. The email will also contain a code specific to you for the digital Lockly door handle and instructions on how to operate. That code is only for your use and will correlate with your name and specific membership package. It’s really straightforward and you won’t have to worry about forgetting a key!

  • Can I have tea with a friend and just chat?

    Please do!!! You and your other Birdhouse member friends can have tea and coffee and perch in whichever spot that is coziest to connect!

  • Who can I contact if there is a problem in the space (internet is down, issues with lights, Heat/AC, etc)?

    If Jodi and Crystal are not in the space when you are experiencing a challenge, please call them directly on their cell phones! Their numbers are posted in the space near the member information in the kitchen.
